Mrs. Sarah Annette Reid answered her Master’s call on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 71.
A native of Spartanburg, SC she was the daughter of the late Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth (Harold} Fuller and the
late Mr. Joseph Robinson.
Annette was a lifelong and dedicated member of Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church. Her
Musical Ministry started at a young age under the guidance of many musical influences. She
played the piano at a young age and rendered songs in different capacities from a young age into
her adult years. During her musical tenure at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, she was
a member of the Gospel Choir, an Advisor for the Mixed Choir, a member of the Mass Choir and
founded Little People for Jesus. Under her leadership, Little People for Jesus hosted a yearly
concert entitled “Unified Christmas Concert.”
Annette was a 1971 graduate of James F. Byrnes High School and a retiree of Adidas. After
retirement, she found joy working for Alexander, Casey &, Gist Funeral Service. She was
married to the late David Reid, Jr.

children, LaKeitra McMillan (Damien) of Wellford, SC and Stephano McMahan of Mauldin, SC.
ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings; Rev. Robert E. Robinson of Duncan, SC, Janice Ross of Taylor, SC.

of Spartanburg, SC, Lucille Seals, Geneva Wright, Linese Gibbs and Vera Twywan all of
Philadelphia, PA; an uncle; Kevin Miller of Woodruff, SC; former husband, J.T. Edwards and a
host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Sandra Robinson,
an aunt; Maria Bivings, uncles; Jim Bivings and Harvey Miller and a lifelong sister; Jackie
Sanders.
Annette loved spending time with her family, singing, traveling and dancing. Her memory will
remain in the hearts of her family, friends and those who were honored to have had the privilege
of knowing her.
