Mr. John “Red” Alexander entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 18th 2025. He was the son of the
late Mr. Henry McDuffy and Mrs. Lola Bell Alexander.
John was a loving father, caring brother, adorable uncle and loyal friend. He worked as a master plumber
technician with Mark Brothers for over 40 years in Buffalo, New York. A true hustler at heart John lived life
by his own rules. Whether at the card table, rolling dice, or chasing the next big win, he brought passion
and a fearless spirit to everything he did. He believed that life was meant to be enjoyed, and he made sure
those around him were smiling, too. Whether it was telling a life story, listening to music at family
gatherings or talking with friends around the oak tree John had a special way of making people feel
welcome and appreciated.
Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Henry McDuffy and Mrs. Lola Bell Alexander.
