Gary Eugene Mcleod Jr

Mr. Gary E, Mcleod known as Jr. was born September 13, 1964, in Washington D.C and departed this life on Monday, August 7,2023 in Spartanburg, SC

He was the son of the Mr. Eugène Mcleod and the late Frances Bernice Mcleod.

Gary gave his life to Christ at an early age. He played basketball which he loved. Gary was very funny guy that would make you laugh until you cry. He also enjoyed listening to music, dancing and was the life and joy of the party.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Corrie Beaty, Johnny Beaty and Bertha Coston and Jefferson Coston, his big brother Terry Mcleod.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his father Eugene Mcleod (Genie); five daughters, Bernice McLeod, Gina McLeod, Moriah McLeod. Takia McLeod, Shalon Green; one son Gary Mcleod Jr; one brother,Max McLeod; four sister, Sherry Anthony (Willie), Edwina John (Kirby), Annetta McLeod, Kim Robinson (Walter); ten grandchildren; special cousin Vernon Williams, best friend Anthony Greene and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, 1 pm at the Cedar grove Baptist Church  Enoree, SC. Visitation will be held Friday August 18, 2023, from 2-7 Pm at the Alexander, Casey and Gist Funeral Service 1223 Old Anderson Mill Rd Moore, Sc. Burial will be follow in the church Cemtery.
